Career 3.0 - multiple skills and jobs

  HR specialist Abhijit Bhaduri shares his take on career design in the new normal of remote work. According to him, “Career 1.0 was linear – where one worked and retired as an engineer/doctor. Career 2.0 meant one could start to work in one field but move to another field mid-career. The latest phase we’re in can be dubbed as Career 3.0. In career 3.0, one works with multiple skills and with multiple talents, all in parallel. This is the time for a portfolio career."

                                  For remote working first requirement is providing facilities needed for effective working from home which organization must ensure and the second requirement is scheduling meeting time and or online job timing in advance It is not possible to work for 8 hrs like in office at home A well-planned system will allow the employee to work with full concentration and also manage activities of personal life

This will be a win win situation for both.


There are 2 parameters of performance which can be put into 2x2 matrix of low to high. one is productivity and other one is trust.

Believe me our team members can't predict productivity scores but trust scores are more accurate. and must be a part of performance matrix

Utilize the time to upskill which is the most positive thing to experience.
